| THE VENUES ARE:
South Brent Village Hall
- about 6 miles out from Totnes
in Station Road, South Brent. (Turn right by the Post Office and
second left.) This venue has been renovated and improved with a
new hardwood floor. Parking along the road or the other side
of the railway line where there is car parking space. See 'Map'
page for simple directions.
Ashburton Town Hall -
in the centre of Ashburton, a town off the A38. The entrance is
on North Street and the dance hall is on the first floor. Parking
- there is a large car park next to the Hall. See 'Map'
page for simple directions.
OTHER VENUEs .....
Bowden House, Totnes -
an occasional venue outside of Totnes off the Kingsbridge Road.
Take first left towards Ashprington, and then 2nd on the left -
Look out for sign for Bowden House. Plenty of parking space - BRING
a torch/flashlight and dancing shoes. See 'Map'
page for simple directions.
Diptford Parish Hall -
This is where these dances began and why they are still sometimes
known as 'Dance at Diptford'. I no longer use this hall,
though it is a pleasant venue.
The Ariel Centre
has been used for the 5 Rhthyms Dance Parties I've organised
in the past. This venue is part of KEVICS, the secondary school
in Totnes on the Totnes to Dartington Road. The entrance is near
the red bridge going over the road.
